Q. What is the car made from?
A. Drive Shafts, Final and differential gears are made from EN24 hardened steel. Black chemi-coated to prevent corrosion.
Ring gear, Body supports and bumpers are made from Black CNC milled acetal.
Everything else is CNC fashioned from aerospace grade, super-lightweight high strength, high sheen, non corroding aluminium alloy.
Q. How much does the car weigh?
A. Because of the type of alloy we use, the weight of the car is only slightly higher than that of simialr cars produced purely from plastic! The dry weight of the T3 is approximately 8Kg.
Q. What pipe comes with the car?
A. Samba 3 tuned pipe with a grey powdercoat finish.
Q. What comes with the car when I buy it?
A. For a detailed breakdown, please download the Mamba data pack. Essentially,
you will receive a complete ready to use car, minus the radio and receiver gear. Preglued tyres, bodyshell, engine and prefilled oil shocks are standard.
Q. What oil is recommended for use with the Mamba’s shocks?
A. We use our own brand of oil in our cars which is heat and wear resistant, but have found that standard 3500W oil also works well in most environments.
Q. Where can I purchase one of the cars?
A. J&A have been supplying parts direct from the factory for over 15 years, and can ship to anywhere in the world usually within 4-5 days. Q. Why are there 4 mounting positions in the radio tray?
A. The Fourth position exists to accomodate a Front Brake Upgrade Kit.Our recommended servo setup is as follows; Servo 1: Steering Servo 2: Front Brake Servo 3: Rear Brake/Throttle
Q. Do you supply any decals or masking sheets?
A. Yes. The Mamba comes with a sheet of adhesive backed, weatherproof stickers.
Q. What engine upgrades are available?
A. We can supply numerous engine upgrade kits and parts, ranging from relatively inexpensive ingintion advancers, to full-blown head replacements and cranks. Please feel free to e-mail us and we’d be happy to discuss your needs and sort out a package to match.
